Google is always adapting to the newest legislative evolutions and often introduces new Privacy standards. Thus, consent management applications (CMPs) have to adapt to satisfy new requirements.
Google’s CMP Partner Program helps identify CMP editors that respect the highest standards required by Google. In this context, Platform X CMP and its customer service were audited and granted the “Gold Tier Partner” : which means that our product satisfies the highest requirements in terms of product features and customer service quality defined by Google.
This award guarantees our clients that their implementation is compliant to Google’s requirements and that the collected and transferred data respects the current legislation in terms of data protection, which ensures compliance to the highest security standards of data management.
Interview with Sarah, Product Manager at Commanders Act
Sarah, you are a Product Manager at Commanders Act. Can you briefly explain your role?
I am mainly responsible for product development, including market monitoring to keep track of legal changes and customer expectations, so we can evolve the product to meet new standards and needs.
One of Commanders Act’s key products is the CMP. Can you explain what a CMP is?
A CMP is the well-known banner that appears when visiting a website, asking the user for their preferences regarding data collection. It ensures that the data is collected in compliance with each country’s personal data protection regulations.
What is the Google CMP Partner Program?
Google has introduced new, stringent standards in the market. We were audited as part of their CMP Partner program, which aims to recognize the top CMP providers. Being a “Gold Tier Partner” means our product fully meets Google’s strict requirements, ensuring that our implementation complies with their highest standards. Of course, the data collected and sent to Google adheres to legal regulations.
